Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for a strategic and hands on Head of Finance to lead our finance function at the intersection of SaaS, AI, payments, and embedded fintech.
This role is ideal for a finance leader who understands the demands of scaling a recurring revenue business while navigating the added complexity of billing infrastructure, payment flows, revenue recognition, cash management, and financial systems. You’ll own the finance foundation of the business while helping drive smarter planning, stronger economics, and more scalable operations.
As a key partner to the CFO and executive team, you’ll help turn financial data into decision making advantage, building a finance function that is rigorous, modern, and growth ready.
Lead and develop a high performing finance team across accounting, FP&A, billing, treasury, and finance operations
Build strong operating rhythms, clear accountability, and scalable team structures
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence, empowering the team to grow and take ownership
Build organizational capability by attracting top talent, developing future leaders, and creating scalable team structures
Partner closely with the CFO and cross functional leaders on company priorities and execution
Champion cross functional collaboration and lead through change in a fast growing, technology driven environment
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with a focus on speed, accuracy, and control
Ensure compliant reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements
Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and governance across a growing multi entity environment
Deliver executive, board, and investor ready reporting
Own budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and scenario modeling
Build driver based models around key SaaS and fintech metrics including ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, LTV, churn, cash burn, and EBITDA
Provide clear insight into business performance, investment tradeoffs, and growth efficiency
Support pricing, packaging, capital allocation, and strategic initiative planning
Oversee billing operations, collections, reconciliations, and revenue reporting
Ensure strong revenue recognition practices under ASC 606 and IFRS 15
Partner on pricing and monetization changes, especially where product and payments flows affect revenue treatment
Manage banking relationships, liquidity, cash positioning, and FX exposure where relevant
Improve finance infrastructure, including ERP, planning systems, reporting tools, and controls
Drive finance automation and embed AI enabled workflows into forecasting, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis
Drive the adoption of AI and automation across forecasting, close, reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis while maintaining strong governance and controls
Partner with Engineering, Data, and Operations to improve systems integration and create a reliable financial source of truth
Increase efficiency by reducing manual work and strengthening process design
Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and leverage emerging technologies to create competitive advantage
Contribute to M&A diligence, integration planning, and post acquisition finance execution where relevant
Support fundraising, investor reporting, and strategic finance projects as needed
Help build the financial infrastructure needed for scale in a complex SaaS + fintech environment
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership in controllership, FP&A, or strategic finance
Strong experience in SaaS businesses with deep understanding of recurring revenue models and subscription metrics
Solid grounding in payments, billing infrastructure, or embedded fintech economics
Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 606 revenue recognition
Experience leading close, reporting, forecasting, and financial performance management
Proven ability to build teams, improve systems, and scale finance in a high growth environment
Strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, and executive communication skills
Multi entity, multi currency, or global finance experience
Exposure to treasury, capital strategy, or banking operations
Experience with finance transformation, automation, and AI workflows
Experience supporting M&A, board reporting, or fundraising readiness
Familiarity with tools such as Xero, planning platforms, and modern reporting systems
Familiarity with embedded finance, payments infrastructure, or related regulatory considerations
