As a UX Designer 2, you will be crafting exceptional experiences for community members and our customers across desktop and mobile platforms. You leverage AI-powered tools and modern design practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and user-centered design principles.
In this role, you partner closely with your product-area UX lead, product managers, engineers and stakeholders with a strong team spirit. You have the confidence to design scalable solutions for projects of different sizes, using AI to iterate rapidly while relying on human-centered insights and best practices.

Required Skills & Abilities
UX and design domain knowledge is important, with understanding of how AI tools enhance rather than replace core design thinking
Passion for all things UX related, especially around connecting people through technology
Demonstrable knowledge of best practices in interaction design (i.e., user scenarios, user flows and rapid prototypes) and a good understanding of user behavior
Proficiency with AI-powered design tools and willingness to explore emerging technologies - e.g., Figma AI features, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools for design iteration, research synthesis, and documentation
Ability to strategically integrate AI throughout the design process to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality, including: using AI to explore design variations and concepts, leveraging AI for research analysis and pattern identification, employing AI to create specifications and documentation efficiently
A team player who shares knowledge and experience with teammates, including best practices for AI tool usage and new collaboration patterns enabled by modern workflows
A learning mindset and hunger to grow, evolve and develop excellence in lean, AI-enhanced, and deeply collaborative UX practice
A strong grasp of user-centered design including usability and accessibility concerns, with understanding of how to validate AI-generated outputs against these principles
You care about bringing delight to your design so examples of micro-interaction works will be crucial
Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently, using AI to explore more options faster while applying human judgment to make final decisions

Ability to identify and articulate user problems clearly
Effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams or stakeholders - early, regularly, with no-surprises, leveraging AI-generated documentation to maintain clarity

Find ways to champion and facilitate frequent evaluation of design ideas with users at various stages of the product design life cycle
Collaborate constructively with other team members and stakeholders by taking them through the journey via storytelling, efficient communication and good rationale

Understanding of modern design system practices and component-based design approaches that enable consistency at scale

3+ years of digital or product design experience, majority in SaaS
Demonstrated experience or strong willingness to learn AI-powered design tools and integrate them effectively into the design process
