This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US and Canada. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience 
6+ years of experience
Proven experience shipping customer-facing software in production across multiple surfaces (e.g. mobile, web, and/or backend services), with depth in at least one and the ability to contribute effectively in the others.
Comfortable using AI development tools with judgment in day-to-day engineering
Experience building mobile applications, including React Native. At Samsara we also use Swift and Kotlin for native modules and in-cab experiences.
Experience shipping and maintaining features over several years, demonstrating long-term ownership.
Domain expertise in logistics, or industrial IoT, especially building mobile apps for drivers or field workers or familiarity with geospatial or mapping technologies.
The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff, and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms and conditions.
