Required Skills & Abilities
5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally backend- or infrastructure-focused, working in large, well-maintained codebases and shipping production systems.
Familiarity with build tooling and automated testing, with an interest in distributed systems.
Ability to learn quickly and transition seamlessly between different areas of a complex codebase and infrastructure stack.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams and driving alignment across technical stakeholders.
Sound autonomous judgment when balancing moving quickly with eliminating risks and building reliable, scalable, performant, and long-term maintainable systems.
Curious about AI-assisted engineering tools and emerging technologies, with an interest in using them thoughtfully to improve productivity.
Experience designing, building, or operating infrastructure on AWS or another major cloud platform is a plus.

For this role, the estimated monthly base salary range is between 1 300 000 ISK - 1 500 000 ISK The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
