3+ years of professional experience building backend systems at a technology company
Experience writing production-quality code in Go (or other languages with a willingness to learn Go)
Proven experience building and operating distributed systems
Proficiency with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environments
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
Track record of delivering well-tested, reliable code for production environments
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and full-stack applications
Familiarity with PKI/TLS concepts and certificate management
Experience writing technical documentation and specifications
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Understanding of distributed systems constraints: performance, caching, data storage/retrieval
Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc)
