Manager, Special Operations

Location: Hybrid (2 days HQ, 1 day Site, 2 days WFH)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary based on business needs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Manager (Ops Tech), Special Operations, to join Factor (factormeals.ca), a healthy, ready-to-heat meal delivery service under HelloFresh. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, computer science, or a similar field
3–5 years of experience in operations technology, systems integration, tech consulting, or manufacturing/supply chain operations
Demonstrated experience writing functional/technical specifications and leading them through development teams
Track record of leading platform migrations or system go-lives in production environments with low tolerance for downtime
Strong data literacy - comfortable mapping data flows across systems, reviewing data source structures, and identifying integration patterns (you don't need to write code, but you need to understand schemas and pipelines)
Excellent stakeholder management - able to translate between floor supervisors and software engineers, and escalate effectively when blocked
Entrepreneurial with an ownership mindset: you thrive in small teams where ambiguity is the norm
Strong written communication - your project updates, go-live comms, and stakeholder messages are clear, structured, and drive action
Quantitative and analytical: expertise with spreadsheet tools, data visualization, and comfort reviewing data pipelines and dashboards
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems including rollout and floor training
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and orchestration tools (Airflow)
Experience with food manufacturing traceability systems (CCP, FIFO, lot tracking)
Background in food manufacturing, meal kit, or CPG operations
Experience with agile sprint planning and working with distributed development teams
