Zuora's UI Platform team builds the shared React and TypeScript component library and design system that power our customer-facing applications, delivering a consistent, accessible and modern experience across our product suite. We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to help evolve that platform ...

* 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily front-end
* Expert-level React and TypeScript, with strong HTML, CSS and accessibility (WCAG) fundamentals
* Experience building reusable, themeable component libraries with Material UI or a comparable library
* Experience with Storybook and automated testing, including unit and visual regression testing
* Working knowledge of design-system practices: tokens, theming, documentation and backward compatibility
* Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (such as Cursor or Claude Code) and a solid understanding of AI-assisted development workflows
* Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD and package publishing
* Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate across functions and time zones
* A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment, with a track record of using AI coding tools to ship at a high pace without sacrificing quality
 
* Experience building AI developer tooling, such as skills, agents or MCP servers, and evaluating their output
* Experience with Web Components, micro-frontends or embeddable widgets
* Background in enterprise SaaS, billing or financial systems
* Experience building AI-powered user interfaces
* Open-source contributions, internal tooling or technical writing
 
You'll work closely with designers, product managers and engineers across the US and Asia to deliver high-quality, reusable UI at enterprise scale. Our team is globally distributed and collaborative, built on strong communication and shared commitment to quality. You'll mentor engineers and share knowledge across this distributed network while helping to shape the future of our platform and development practices.
