Demonstrated experience in a direct account executive/closing role
Key Responsibilities
Assess your territory and develop a successful account execution strategy
Identify and activate new accounts to execute account activation target activate new accounts
Exceed activity and revenue targets
Track all customer details, including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
Identify new use case opportunities and showcase value to prospects
Promote the value of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform
Partner with founders and technical leaders to accelerate time-to-value and drive early consumption adoption
Required Skills & Abilities
Experience penetrating new accounts, executing on first use cases, growing initial consumption and closing deals in a direct sales role
Experience in a relevant software sales development role with a consumption sales motion
Some exposure to the software industry and a grasp of basic concepts of selling SAAS, Big Data and Business Value
Basic understanding of the data platform and cloud ecosystems
Experience exceeding sales targets/quotas
Success in closing new accounts while working on existing accounts
Passion for cloud technologies
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
