PingWind is seeking a motivated Software Developer to help design, develop, and implement modern web applications. In this role, you will perform systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation for complex applications. You will be a core member of an Agile team, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle with a focus on building high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:• Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain robust applications using Java/Spring Boot for backend services and Angular for the frontend.• UI/UX Implementation: Build responsive and appealing front-end interfaces using UI templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular.• Cloud Integration: Develop and deploy applications in a cloud environment, utilizing AWS services.• API Development: Write and consume effective RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between system components.• System Modernization: Contribute to efforts to translate legacy applications into modern, cloud-native architectures.• Quality Assurance: Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, and collaborate on troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading applications.• Agile Collaboration: Be an active participant in the Agile development process (SAFe, Scrum, etc.), working with team
members to enhance existing software and deliver new features.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.• Proficiency in front-end development with Angular, HTML5, and CSS.• Experience with Node.js for backend services or build tooling.• Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably in an AWS environment.• Experience with Agile development processes (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).• Experienced with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.• Experience writing SQL for a major database (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).• Experience with API design and documentation (e.g., JSON, OpenAPI).• Familiarity with source control tools like Git.• Experience with vulnerability analysis and remediation.
