Everyday hand-on chemist willing to get into laboratory to conduct novel organic and lipid polymer chemical synthesis to support and build the company’s proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.

Develop scalable synthetic processes that could eventually lead to commercial use in LNP and targeted LNP formulation.

Characterize, problem solve and interpret analytical data obtained from instrumentation such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR etc.
Maintain Chemistry laboratory and inventories in accordance with good laboratory procedures.
Communicate regularly with supervisor and peers on research findings and propose suggestions for next steps.
Maintain a current knowledge of latest technology and scientific trends.
Perform other duties as needed.

A minimum of a Ph.D. in organic, polymer or lipid chemistry from an accredited University.
A minimum of 1 year of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry. Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
Must have proven track record of scientific accomplishments either in the form of publications or patents.
