ABOUT FACILITIES MAINTAINANCE AT ROCKET LAB:
Key Responsibilities
Keep mission-critical systems running: HVAC, electrical infrastructure, compressed air, specialized aerospace equipment
Coordinate precision equipment calibrations annually to aerospace standards
Drive maintenance, operations, and improvement projects that enable rocket manufacturing
Manage contractors, building compliance, and infrastructure projects
Required Skills & Abilities
8+ years leading industrial facilities operations (aerospace/manufacturing/heavy industrial)
Managed multi-site industrial or campus-wide operations with full P&L accountability
Built and led maintenance teams in high-stakes environments
Aeronautical, aerospace, or precision manufacturing background
Trade-qualified (Mechanical/Electrical/Fitter & Turner) OR Building Maintenance qualification OR BCom with deep facilities experience
